Why Cycling Basti?
On Cycling Basti, I share not only travelogues but also practical tips on equipment, route planning, and bikepacking in general. I ride a Rose Backroad AL gravel bike and use a mix of classic panniers and a lightweight bikepacking setup.
My big tours
- 2025: Munich → Istanbul (2,500 km through the Balkans)
- 2025: Flensburg → North Cape (3,000 km through Scandinavia)
- 2026/27: The Pan-American Highway (Alaska → Argentina, 25,000 km planned)
